Transport Analysis Unit (TAU) - Data migration solution
I was tasked with helping to propose a cloud data migration and maintenance solution to the Transport Analysis Unit for the upcoming Brisbane 2032 Olympic games. I won the work and then spent the next 3 months in the TMR offices working side-by-side with the clients. I consulted regularly with senior data professionals at WSP and a talented Soultions Architect to prototype a working data pipeline that integrated comfortably with their existing processes and met their data governance requirements.
Connected and Autommated Vehicle (CAV) - DevOps and Core Analytics Platform Maintainer
I was initially introduced to this project to help the Monitoring Reporting System (MRS) team develop and automate their cloud infrastructure. Following some planning and review, the original task was expanded to include doing a full replacement of the old MRS system. The new Snowflake platform solution integrates with tailored AWS architecture. I also made use of my previous software development experience of DevOps framework and philosophy to encourage and sometimes enforce software development best practices moving forward.
